On November 14th, Wasco FFA took eight teams to Independence High School in Bakersfield. These teams competed against 11 other high schools in our South Valley Section. Our eight teams practiced and recited the opening and closing FFA ceremonies. All of our teams did excellent but we had a few standout performances. Our Novice Wasco 1 Team placed 3rd overall for the novice teams. This novice team consisted of freshman including (MEMBERS) which was coached by Mr. Farao. Sihomara Navarro Madrigal was awarded high individual Vice President for the Open Blue team. Wasco FFA is really proud of all the teams that competed!
