An insight of our most recent activities and events.

Just this past week, Wasco FFA participated in National FFA week which took place from February 22nd-26th. This week, Wasco FFA hosted a scavenger hunt that encouraged members to seek FFA emblems around the school campus. Members would then submit images of themselves with the emblems they found, and whoever found the most emblems quickly, won. On Tuesday, Wasco FFA members had a "Too Old Tuesday" dress-up day in which we dressed as elderly people. This was our theme for our chapter meeting which was hosted at 6:00 pm in the cafeteria and virtually for those who were unable to attend physically. Wednesday was our wacky dress-up day as well as AG Bash, which is an activity that members were able to attend and compete with other neighboring schools. Thursday was "official dress Thursday", in which members were encouraged to wear the FFA official dress. On Thursday, Wasco FFA hosted a special lunchtime activity in which members were encouraged to socialize and learn more about SAE projects that they can have. On Friday, the dress-up theme was FFA (spirit) Friday. On this day Wasco FFA hosted a 5k run in which members of the community also participated. To end off National FFA week, Wasco FFA sent two delegates, Juan Carlos Pimentel & Amber Newby, as well as Sam Garcia to the San Joaquin Regional meeting.

We would like to note shortly that we also have new baby livestock born at our school farm. The AG Animal Science and Veterinary Science courses will be applying their knowledge in the assistance of developing the livestock babies.
