On February 26th, two delegates of the Wasco FFA chapter alongside Samantha (Sam) Garcia had the opportunity to attend the San Joaquin Regional meeting. Our two delegates for this meeting were Juan Carlos Pimentel and Amber Newby. Sam Garcia was one of the officer candidates this year. Sam had to respond to impromptu-style questions on stage. There was a meet and greet section in this meeting between officer candidates and delegates. The elections in which our two delegates voted to select the officer team of this year, were hosted at 1:00 pm.
Wasco FFA would like to give a special congratulations to Samantha ( Sam) Garcia for being the vice president-elect of 2022-2023 for the San Joaquin Region! As a regional officer, Sam will be representing the South Valley section.
